Conclusions of the Red Hat Digital Transformation Event
The main conclusions that can be drawn from the Red Hat conference are as follows:
- Organizational culture changeThe speakers at the Red Hat event placed special emphasis on the need to transform companies from an organizational point of view. In this regard, they agreed with one of the most important conclusions that can be seen in the Oasys 2017 Report “Current situation and future challenges of the IoT market in Spain and Europe”, The event's speakers analyzed the differences between Spanish and European industry's adaptation to new technologies. According to the speakers at the event, millennials have a great influence on the cultural paradigm shift in companies., They require less hierarchy and a flatter structure.
- The importance of Bimodal IT for companiesAnother of the highlights of the Digital Enterprise Conference 2016 in Madrid was the importance of the so-called two-speed IT. According to Red Hat, cloud systems, unlike legacy systems, evolve in a more agile way and must be the pillar on which companies support the entire Digital Transformation process.
- Trust in partnersFinally, the Santiago Bernabéu event made clear the multinational's confidence in its strategic partners, as most of the presentations were given by the heads of the companies with which Red Hat has worked. The combination, therefore, between the know-how of the manufacturer and the experience in a successful case of the partner makes the result optimal in any process of Digital Transformation.
As a final act, event attendees were able to enjoy the Santiago Bernabéu stadium and go down to the pitch in groups of 180 people, where they were able to discuss the challenges that companies around the world must continue to face in order to remain competitive in the coming years.
