Specialized Services in Mexico - REPSE

Following the approval of the outsourcing reform,the figure of the specialized services, The main objective is to ensure that only those companies that provide services to outside the corporate purpose of its customers On the other hand, in order for the companies to be able to provide their services, they must be registered in the registry created by the STPS, which is called REPSE.

We are registered specialized service providers in the REPSE in the Secretary of Labor in Mexico under the new modality of “specialized services” in view of the disappearance of the outsourcing.

What is REPSE?
The REPSE is the platform enabled by the STPS, through which the Registry of Specialized Service Providers or Specialized Works is managed for compliance with Article 15 of the Federal Labor Law.
This registry was created by the STPS (Mexico's Labor Secretariat), as a result of the outsourcing reform, In the same article, it was established that both individuals and companies that provide services that are performed within their clients' facilities must have a special registration provided by the STPS.
What are specialized services?
These are companies that provide their clients with specific services that are usually NOT part of the client's corporate purpose.
The best example is the ICT industry that provides support in the form of outsourced services, today considered ‘specialized services’.
