Zemsania presents its technological bet at the IoT Catalan Alliance

Zemsania attended the presentation of the initiative on December 10, 2009. IoT Catalan Alliance in Barcelona together with 40 other companies in the technology sector. This is an initiative that aims to define and promote IoT promotion strategies in Catalonia, as well as to combine the efforts of all the actors involved.

This new initiative, organized by the i2CAT Foundation, has already gained the support of important companies that innovate in the field of IoT, such as Cellnex, Vodafone, Everis, the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona and the Eurecat research center.

Zemsania had the opportunity, along with other important entities in the sector, to present their innovations and explain their interests and capabilities in the field of the Internet of Things. In short, the presentation of the IoT Catalan Alliace was a good opportunity to see how the situation of the sector in Catalonia and how synergies between companies could work.

Zemsania will present its use cases at the IoT Catalan Alliance in March.

After this first contact, the IoT Catalan Alliance wants to prepare a day on successful cases of application of IoT, which will be attended by the most important companies in the sector. Among them will be Zemsania, which will present its commitment to the improvement of the large-scale connectivity and the management of large amounts of data to generate new business models.

The main objective of this conference will be to lay the foundations to create a true IoT community in Catalonia and, in this way, to define the value chain of supply and demand in the sector.

In the long term, the IoT Catalan Alliance is planning to work on the sector regulation Internet of Things, The company is also setting standards and forming interest groups.
