The Zemsania Group will be present on November 7th and 8th at the  FEED 2017 (IV Foro del Empleo en la Era Digital), held in Madrid. The objective of this year's edition is to discuss how technology will change the labor market in the coming years, one of the main challenges facing companies today. Within the framework of FEED, Zemsania will make a presentation on November 7th entitled Recruitment 2.0, from traditional selection to Digital Recruitment.

This presentation will be given by Elena Cantero, Digital Recruitment & Talent Manager at Zemsania Group, who will talk about how the new generations have revolutionized the way in which candidates and companies relate to each other in order to carry out a selection process. In this sense, unlike what happened years ago, new technologies have given greater empowerment to young people, who are aware of the important role they will have to develop within companies.

From traditional recruitment to Digital Recruitment

To see the changes that talent selection is currently undergoing in Spain, we must first of all understand the importance of companies transforming themselves. When we talk about transformation, we are not only referring to technology, but also to the organization. For this reason, Elena Cantero will speak in her FEED presentation about the need to evolve the corporate culture and turn it into an innovative process. The reason? To make the company attractive and, therefore, attract the technology talent it needs on its own.

How can a human resources department adapt to these changes? First and foremost, it is important to note that an HR department should be an extension of the company. Therefore, the recruitment department has to be part of the corporate culture of the company and assimilate the innovative character of the rest of the company. These new functionalities make it possible to carry out a first selection much faster and in a standardized way. No more tedious candidate reports based simply on personal and subjective appraisals.

One of the highlights of Elena Cantero's presentation will also be, the advent of Artificial Intelligence in human resources departments. Currently, some companies, such as Zemsania Group, have implemented solutions based on algorithms that allow automating crucial points of the selection process, such as the screening of resumes and the generation of reports based on data analytics. This relieves much of the administrative and bureaucratic burden of traditional recruitment.

In conclusion, Elena Cantero will talk about the importance of the human factor in a selection process despite the emergence of new technologies. In this sense, she will explain that, although technology is a very necessary tool, the criteria of the experts always prevails over what any algorithm indicates.
